Sweets, the way Cuddalore has always made them
Nineteen seventy-eight. A small counter in Cuddalore, a few brass vessels, and a stubborn refusal to swap desi ghee for anything cheaper. Four decades on, very little has changed — the jangiris still go into the syrup at the right minute, and the milk still reduces slowly instead of quickly.

Cuddalore Ungal Agarwal opened in 1978 and has been feeding the same families ever since — the grandparents who bought jangiri by the kilo, and the grandchildren who now order it from Bengaluru and Dubai.
None of that happens by accident. It happens because the ghee is real, the batches are small, the kitchen is cleaned before it is closed, and nobody has ever been allowed to send out yesterday's sweets as today's.

Do you deliver outside Tamil Nadu?
Yes. Sweets, savouries, biscuits and kitchen jars ship across India, and delivery is free on orders above ₹1,500. Cakes are available in Cuddalore and Puducherry only.
How fresh will it be when it arrives?
Everything is made in small batches and packed the same day it is dispatched, so it leaves our kitchen at its best.
Are your sweets made in pure ghee?
Yes — pure desi ghee in every sweet that calls for it. No vanaspati, and no substitutions.
Is everything vegetarian?
Yes. Every item on the site is vegetarian.
How long will the sweets keep?
It depends on the item. Milk sweets are best enjoyed within a few days, while ghee sweets, savouries and thokkus last considerably longer. Each product page carries its own shelf life.
Can I order in bulk for an office or a wedding?

What payment methods do you accept?
